Handling of contact lenses

Handling made easy

Hygiene and cleanliness is very important for the health of your eyes. Therefore you always should wash your hands and dry them with a lint-free towel before you start handling with your contact lenses. So no dirt or bacteria can come into the eyes by your hands or the contacts.

For the handling of the contact lenses you need the following implements: a mirror, a storage box, a towel and a rinsing or saline solution.

An interchange can be prohibited if you only handle one lens and always start with the same lens. The best would be to start with the eye you see worse.

If it’s possible you should insert your lenses above a monochromatic smooth surface- the ideal case would be if you sit on a table with an even mirror on top.

Contact lenses react very sensitive to mechanical impact. Thus you shouldn’t squash or press the contact lenses. And you also shouldn’t pull them across a table, mirror, tile or any other surface. And don’t use any other solution except a contact lens solution!

Unfortunately there can be problems by wearing contact lenses. If you have any problems feel free to contact us!
